Published on January 27, 2026

This session will explore how young women and youth are driving transformative advocacy to advance gender equality and social justice. Drawing from my experiences as a youth and women’s rights advocate, I will unpack practical strategies, challenges, and lessons learned in promoting inclusive leadership and grassroots activism. The discussion will also highlight how intersectionality and decolonizing feminism can strengthen advocacy movements, ensuring that diverse voices and lived experiences shape policies and practices. Participants will walk away with concrete ideas and inspiration to strengthen their own advocacy efforts within their communities.
