Postponement Announcement: Barefoot Walk for Peace — The Mothers’ Call

We are writing to share an important update regarding The Barefoot Walk: Mothers’ Call for Peace, the powerful global action uniting Palestinian and Israeli mothers — and mothers everywhere — in a shared call to end violence and build a durable peace.

The Barefoot Walk, originally planned for November 2025 in Rome, has been rescheduled for March 2026.

This decision was made to ensure that the full impact, participation, and global reach of this historic launch can be realized.

About the Movement

The Mothers’ Call represents a new, urgent movement for peace. Inspired by Reem Al-Hajajreh of Women of the Sun (Palestine) and Yael Admi of Women Wage Peace (Israel)—The Barefoot Walk transcends politics and borders, reconnecting participants with the land itself—land that holds history, loss, resilience, and the hope for peace.

At the heart of the movement is a collective declaration by Palestinian and Israeli mothers calling for a permanent end to violence, a commitment to durable peace, and the inclusion of women in future peace processes. This call is grounded in one simple, urgent truth: no child should ever be killed — or raised to be a killer.
