The second event is the Last Girl Awards where we honor those helping those most in need. This year we are honoring Nadia Murad — Nobel Peace Laureate and ISIS survivor; Mary Mazzio — Olympian and filmmaker; Nacole Svendgard — an activist mother who fought dark-web traffickers; and feminist trailblazers Syeda Hameed, Jackie Shapiro, and Taina Bien-Aimé who continue to hold the line against all odds.
