Strategies for Navigating (Un)Expected Career Transition; When Circumstances Require Changing Job Industries - Session on August 27th
Many of us are familiar with the saying, "the only thing constant is change," but what happens when change abruptly impacts our livelihood, more specifically our career? Globally, many individuals are navigating career transitions from sectors that were deemed 'lifelong careers' in the federal and/or local government as well as non-governmental organizations (NGOs.) This upcoming session with Carla Reed is for anyone who is navigating career transition and/or loss as well as those who want to prepare for the (un)expected. Session attendees will leave with:
Techniques for identifying transferable skills as applicable to positions in companies and sectors of interest
Action steps for goal setting and strategically navigating career transition
Research strategies for networking and identifying professional groups of interests
Community with like-minded individuals who are navigating career transition
