Nominations Open for The Inaugural Collective Action Award!

Dear Vital Voices Network,

As we gear up for the 23rd Annual Vital Voices Global Leadership Awards, we are thrilled to unveil a new and significant addition to the awards ceremony—the Collective Action Award!


About the Collective Action Award:

This award is designed to honor, amplify, and support a woman leader or groups of leaders within the Vital Voices Network who recognize the power of the collective. The award will celebrate a leader(s) who have utilized the Vital Voices network to launch new partnership initiatives, campaigns, or expand existing projects across countries or regions through collaborative efforts with fellow members of the network.

This award is unique as it is the first Network Choice award. Network members have the exciting opportunity to nominate fellow VV leaders or even themselves. The nominations will be followed by a voting period on our Vital Voices hub where the entire network will be able to participate in voting for the winner among a group of  3 finalists.

 

Recognition and Opportunities for Awardees:

  • Top 3 finalists will be invited to and featured at the Vital Voices Festival from May 28th to 30th in Washington, DC.

  • The selected awardee will receive the Inaugural Collective Action Award on stage at the Kennedy Center during the Global Leadership Awards on May 30th, 2024.

  • A short film about the awardee's work will be produced by Queen Latifah's Queen's Collective.

  • The awardee will receive a $25,000 grant to continue their impactful work.

  • The awardee will have the opportunity to participate in a week of training and support in Washington, DC, including pro bono strategic consulting services from Deloitte.

 

How to Nominate:

Please submit your nomination here by March 4, 2024. Once you have submitted your nomination please be sure to sign up for the VV Hub ( sign up information will be sent to your email upon completing the nomination form) in order to participate in the voting process. The top 3 finalists will be selected based on the votes received during the voting period.

 

Important Dates to Consider:

Nominations Open: February 26, 2024

Nominations Close: March 4, 2024

Voting Period: March 8, 2024 – March 14, 2024

Notification (Top 3 Finalists): March 15, 2024

Global Leadership Awards: May 30, 2024
