Additionally, I wanted to share a few of many events hosted or co-hosted by members of the Vital Voices network during CSW70. This session by the Centre for Protecting Women Online will focus on the role and place of technology in the context of democratic participation of women and girls.  

  • March 13 at 10 am - 1130 am ET (In-Person), UNDP FF building, 304 East 45th St. (Doha Room), Gender Based Violence has No Borders: Neither does our Action and Solidarity.  

This intergenerational side event aims to provide a brave space to bring together organizations and individuals working to end Gender-Based Violence (GBV), to centre survivor-led and innovative approaches, and to tap into the power of partnership. This session is taking place on the sidelines of CSW70 and is co-organized by: Chalk Back, Right to Be, Red Dot Foundation, Safecity, ReproUncensored, and Catcalls of NYC. Our amplification partner is Feminist.

This roundtable brings together diplomats, civil society leaders, and foundations to explore the future of Feminist Foreign Policy (FFP) and the Women, Peace and Security (WPS) agenda in a rapidly changing geopolitical and digital landscape.
